Venue Details

Ascend Prime Steak &amp; Sushi is a restaurant on the 31st floor of the Lincoln Square South building. Our ceremony and reception will take place in two of Ascend's private event suites. The Lincoln Square South building is a large indoor complex with shopping, dining, and entertainment. The restaurant entrance is not directly accessible from street level. When you arrive to Lincoln Square South, look for a bank of six elevators in the main lobby and select the 31st floor. When you arrive, restaurant staff will be able to help guide you to the right place.

General Info

Bellevue, WA is a city located 10 miles east of Seattle across Lake Washington. Our venue is in the heart of downtown Bellevue and very walkable to many dining, shopping, and entertainment options! Most guests will be flying into Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), the closest major airport. SEA is approximately a 25–35 minute drive to Bellevue, depending on traffic. Rideshares, taxis, rental cars, and public buses are all readily available from the airport. We recommend staying in Bellevue to be close to wedding festivities and cut down on travel time! Guests are welcome to stay in Seattle, but please note travel times can be 30+ minutes depending on traffic.

Directions to Ascend

Ascend Prime Steak &amp; Sushi is located on the 31st floor of Lincoln Square South in downtown Bellevue. Lincoln Square South is a large indoor complex with shopping, dining, and entertainment — so the entrance to Ascend is not directly accessible from the outside street level. When you arrive to Lincoln Square South, look for a bank of six elevators in the main lobby and select the 31st floor. Once you arrive upstairs, restaurant staff will be there to greet you and direct you to our private reception suites.

Parking

Complimentary self-park is available on weekends on the Lincoln Square South Garage at 10400 NE 4th St, Bellevue, WA 98004.

Dress Code: Cocktail

We invite our guests to dress for an evening out! Our dress code will be Cocktail (i.e. Knee-length or midi-length dresses. Suits or blazers, with ties optional)

Gifts

Please note we do not have a registry and kindly ask no boxed gifts. We are so grateful to have you celebrating with us — especially those traveling from near and far. Your presence is truly the greatest gift! In Chinese weddings, it’s instead traditional to give a Hong Bao - which is a monetary gift in a card or envelope! But this is entirely optional. What matters most to us is that you’re there to celebrate, laugh, and make memories together. Whatever you choose, we appreciate it deeply and feel so lucky to have you celebrate with us in-person on our big day!

Outdoorsy Adventures

The PNW is known for its great outdoors. Here are some scenic hikes if you have access to a car and want to take a day trip away from the city! Snoqualmie Falls (40 min away): Easy access with dramatic views and a short walking path that ends at a waterfall.Rattlesnake Ledge (35 min away): A scenic hike near Rattlesnake Lake where we took our engagement photos.! The hike is a 4.0 mile loop with 1,160 ft elevation gain.Snow Lake (1.5 hrs away): This is a scenic alpine hike that's 7.2 miles round trip with 1,800 elevation gain. Make sure to wear hiking shoes &amp; leave early to beat the crowds.Mount Rainier National Park (2 hrs away): You can navigate to the Paradise Visitor Center which is at around 5,400 ft elevation. This is the highest and most accessible visitor area in the park. Skyline Trail is a classic 5.5 mile loop with 1,700 ft elevation gain. Make sure to leave early to beat the crowds.
